There was a time
I was unevenly spread.
There was a shadow of doubt.
I crossed all my fingers,
my arms and my legs.
And I'm hiding behind,
and I'm wandering past
still wanderers passed
There was a time
when I wasn't right.
Something about those planets
just didn't align.
And I was a number,
I wasn't even a road
and I fell somewhere in between
I looked up above
and my number comes up.
And my bubble had burst
and the clouds had dispersed
and I didn't mind.
Wintered, weathered, and worn out now.
And I'm leaving behind,
and I'm wandering past
still wanderers passed
There was a time
when I wasn't right.
Something about those planets
just didn't align.
And you and your old fellow there,
grew in my house.
The safety in numbers is something
that you've never learned.
